VOTE FOR THE CORPORATE-FREE

DEMOCRATIC PARTY CENTRAL COMMITTEE CANDIDATES

IN ASSEMBLY DISTRICT 24 (Fremont and Newark)

We are the People Powered Progressives, candidates for the Alameda County Democratic Party Central Committee in the March 5, 2024 California primary election in Assembly District 24. We are a part of the People Powered Progressives running slates in all of the Assembly Districts in Alameda County.

We believe that the people of Alameda County, not corporate interests should be the ones making decisions about how the Democratic Party operates in Alameda County. We believe that the interests of the fossil fuel, healthcare, real estate, and other industries have too much influence in the Democratic Party. We stand behind those candidates that do not take corporate campaign contributions and have a proven track record of standing up for working class people, renters and others who are struggling to get by in the Bay Area.

We need your help! We need people to drop literature, to do text banking, and to donate. To volunteer, send an email to candidates@ad24slate.com. To donate, go to https://www.efundraisingconnections.com/c/ALAMEDA.

Vinnie was the first to raise the issue of developer contributions in Fremont City Council elections. He served on the Fremont City Council from 2012 through 2020. Victoria Birbeck-Herrera – Public School Teacher (see full bios)

Victoria Birbeck-Herrera has been a strong labor advocate, elected union leader, and public school teacher for almost two decades. She humbly asks for your vote to represent you as an Alameda County Democratic Party Central Committee member.

Quality public education and access for every child in every family is a fundamental right, and she will strive to support increased assistance and resources for our public education system. Every child and family in every zip code throughout California has needs and deserves to have those needs addressed by those who represent them. More than ever before, we can see that society depends on our school system, and we must prioritize funding to match its importance.
